Immerse Education’s Engineering summer programme offers two courses: one for students aged 13-15, introducing fundamental engineering principles, and another for students aged 16-18, covering advanced topics like mechanics, civil engineering, and electronics.

  • Complete modules including Basics of Mechanical Engineering and Structural Engineering and Design. Learning happens in in-depth academic sessions, personal projects and 1:1 tutoring. All participants will live, study, dine and relax within St. Paul's College, a stunning residential community that's part of the University of Sydney. The Graduation Ceremony marks the completion of your Career Insights course. This event will be an elegant celebration of achievements. Participants taking part in Sydney Academic Insights courses will enjoy a variety of cultural and leisure activities. Expect excursions during our summer programme, which include exploring the iconic landmarks Sydney has to offer, including Sydney Opera House, the Australian Museum and the Royal Botanic Gardens.

Accommodation

All participants will live in comfortable student accommodation at their chosen venue, in clean rooms and with adequate supervision. Where multiple campuses may be available (such as in Oxford or Cambridge), students will be allocated to a college a few weeks before arriving, based on their dates and subject choice.

Academics & Tuition

You’ll explore core topics such as mechanics, electronics, materials science, and structural design. The course also introduces you to problem-solving methods used by engineers to tackle real-world challenges, preparing you for more advanced studies in the field.
