Study international relations in Sydney, a city at the crossroads of the Asia-Pacific region’s geopolitical landscape. Immerse Education’s International Relations summer programme offers two age-specific courses: one for students aged 13-15, introducing the basics of global politics, and another for students aged 16-18, exploring more advanced topics such as international diplomacy, conflict resolution, and global governance.

Key Features

  • Complete modules including International Law and Human Rights and Political Ideologies and Global Governance. Learning happens in in-depth academic sessions, personal projects and 1:1 tutoring. All participants will live, study, dine and relax within St. Paul's College, a stunning residential community that's part of the University of Sydney. The Graduation Ceremony marks the completion of your Career Insights course. This event will be an elegant celebration of achievements. Participants taking part in Sydney Academic Insights courses will enjoy a variety of cultural and leisure activities. Expect excursions during our summer programme, which include exploring the iconic landmarks Sydney has to offer, including Sydney Opera House, the Australian Museum and the Royal Botanic Gardens.

Accommodation

All participants will live in comfortable student accommodation at their chosen venue, in clean rooms and with adequate supervision. Where multiple campuses may be available (such as in Oxford or Cambridge), students will be allocated to a college a few weeks before arriving, based on their dates and subject choice.

Academics & Tuition

You’ll explore key topics such as diplomacy, global governance, international conflict, and the role of international organisations like the United Nations. The course encourages you to think critically about how political decisions impact global peace and security, and how international relations shape the world we live in.
