Key Features

  • Complete modules including Cognitive Psychology: Understanding the Mind and Social Psychology: How Groups Influence Behaviour. Learning happens in in-depth academic sessions, personal projects and 1:1 tutoring. The graduation ceremony, held in a historic Oxford hall, celebrates participants' achievements with inspirational speeches and the awarding of certificates. There are two full-day excursions during the programme, one day trip to visit Cambridge and its constituent colleges, as well as an optional day out in London, seeing the city’s most famous landmarks as well as some free time for shopping. We offer a busy and diverse social programme to ensure you make the most of your time in Oxford. Activities include punting on the River Cherwell, zorb football, and a thrilling murder mystery night in the college. Evenings feature a variety of events, including inspiring guest speaker sessions, talent shows, cake and canvas painting evenings, quiz nights with friends, and sports tournaments.

Accommodation

All participants will live in comfortable student accommodation at their chosen venue, in clean rooms and with adequate supervision. Where multiple campuses may be available (such as in Oxford or Cambridge), students will be allocated to a college a few weeks before arriving, based on their dates and subject choice.

Academics & Tuition

 You’ll explore core areas of psychology, including cognitive psychology, developmental psychology, social behaviour, and mental health. The course also covers research methods, helping you understand how psychologists study human behaviour and make evidence-based conclusions. You’ll engage with current research in the field, exploring how psychological theories apply to real-world issues such as mental illness, education, and workplace dynamics.
