The Barcelona Festival of Song is a vocal summer program for classical singers, collaborative pianists, and voice teachers of all ages. Over ten days in the heart of Barcelona, participants study and perform art song repertoire in Spanish, Catalan, and Portuguese, guided by leading experts and performers.

Academics

The academic program offers over 50 hours of intensive training, including masterclasses, diction coaching, and lectures on the history and interpretation of Latin American and Iberian art song. Participants work closely with expert faculty to develop stylistic and linguistic fluency in Spanish, Catalan, and Portuguese, while building a personalized repertoire that supports their artistic growth and career goals.

Extracurriculars

The extracurricular program includes free access to all BFOS concerts, offering participants the chance to experience world-class performances up close. It also features cultural outings and field trips around Barcelona, providing rich opportunities to connect with the city’s vibrant artistic and historical heritage.

Accommodation

Accommodation Option
11-night stay in a private room with bathroom and kitchenette, centrally located near the beach (available with select registration);
Accommodation support and hotel advice for those choosing the tuition-only option.

Participants who register with the accommodation option will enjoy an 11-night stay in a comfortable residence in the heart of Barcelona. Each private room includes a bathroom and kitchenette, offering both privacy and convenience throughout the program.

Access to a practice room with a piano for individual rehearsals.
