Summer School at Leighton Park with Experio Summer
Our purpose is to create opportunities for young people from all over the world to learn new things, to have new experiences and to…
Bede’s Summer School offers Bear Grylls Survival Academy at its Windlesham campus — a dynamic summer programme blending English‑language learning with practical outdoor‑survival and adventure skills. Students (8–13) spend 12.5 hours a week improving English and soft‑skills like teamwork and communication, and the other half engaging in wilderness activities: shelter‑building, fire lighting, navigation/orienteering, water/raft rescue, first aid, and survival challenges.
Beyond skills training, the camp emphasises confidence, resilience and cooperation: throughout their stay participants face team “missions” and an “Ultimate Challenge,” culminating in a test of all the survival skills learned. The programme also includes supervised social events, excursions and full boarding support — with healthy meals, 24‑hour staff supervision, and a structured schedule — making it a balanced experience of adventure, education and personal growth.
At Bede’s Summer School, every student is given the chance to discover happiness in their pursuit of excellence. The institution continually moulds an enriched educational journey, creating a vibrant learning environment that drives each individual towards their utmost potential. By providing a vast expanse of opportunities, they enable students to uncover new passions and refine unique talents. Furthermore, they prioritise building a compassionate community that motivates everyone to uplift those around them.
Their courses, carefully designed to both stimulate and captivate, are a testament to their commitment. This dedication ensures that every student not only learns English but also establishes enduring international friendships. Bede’s Summer School remains unwavering in its pursuit of maintaining the highest standards of student care and quality in every facet of the learning experience.
