Summary

The camps at Concord College are designed to cater to the developmental and educational needs of 11-16-year-old students. For younger students, the Discovery Workshop fosters curiosity and foundational knowledge, while older students engage in more specialized Academic Projects. Both age groups benefit from General Study courses, enhancing their English and Science skills. Enrichment Activities provide an avenue for creative exploration and skill development. About

Concord College, set in rural Shropshire, is the Winner of the Independent Schools in 2023, and therefore ideal for summer school students as it is renowned for its picturesque campus and comprehensive facilities. The summer school student will be able to enjoy modern classrooms, laboratories, and lecture halls equipped with state-of-the-art technology. There are sports fields, gymnasiums, and fitness centres available for the summer. Outdoors, there are gardens, courtyards, and green areas providing spaces for relaxation, socializing, and outdoor activities.

Pickup Options

There is free coach transfer service from London Heathrow Airport and Manchester Airport. There are restrictions on when this free transfer can take place, depending on start and end ocourse and times during the day.

Self Travel

To reach Concord College, fly to Birmingham Airport (BHX) or Manchester Airport (MAN). From there, hire a taxi or use a ride-sharing service to reach the college. Alternatively, take a train to Shrewsbury Railway Station, then hire a taxi or use local bus services to reach Concord College. Concord College is situated in Acton Burnell, near Shrewsbury, Shropshire, and is easily accessible by road, located off the A49 road.
