Summary

EYSM (European Youth Summer Music) is a vibrant, international summer music course for students aged 11–21, offering an inspiring mix of orchestral playing, vocal training, and creative musical options. With four main orchestras, a dynamic vocal programme, and daily opportunities to explore everything from gospel choir to samba percussion, EYSM caters to young musicians from Grade 6 to post-Diploma level, without the pressure of an audition.

Set in the beautiful surroundings of St Catherine’s School in Surrey, EYSM is more than a music camp—it’s a community where students grow musically and personally. With expert tutors, diverse ensembles, and a packed schedule of music-making and fun, it’s the perfect summer experience for passionate young performers ready to take their next step.

EYSM offers expert-led tuition through full orchestral rehearsals, sectional coaching, and ensemble work, tailored for students from Grade 6 to post-Diploma level—all designed to develop technical skill, musicality, and performance confidence in a dynamic, no-audition setting.

Extracurriculars

Beyond the music, EYSM comes alive with fun and friendship through a lively mix of sports, swimming, and social events. Evenings are packed with energy and laughter—think barn dances, karaoke nights, and inspiring tutor concerts—creating the perfect balance of relaxation, connection, and unforgettable memories.

Accommodation
