The Fiestravaganza International Music Academy (FIMA) is an elite summer program in Berlin for talented young string players. Participants receive intensive solo and chamber music coaching from renowned mentors, with unique opportunities to perform in prestigious venues such as the University of the Arts Berlin and alongside the Camerata Fiestravaganza orchestra. The program also features masterclasses, workshops on vintage and modern instruments, and collaborative performances with peers and professionals. With its vibrant setting, expert faculty, and a focus on excellence, FIMA offers a transformative musical experience in the heart of one of Europe’s cultural capitals.
FIMA 2026 offers high-level tuition for advanced young pianists and string players through solo coaching, chamber music rehearsals, orchestral training, and masterclasses with expert mentors. Entry is competitive and aimed at participants with strong performance experience, typically at a pre-professional or conservatory level. A video audition is required for entry
The program offers a rich extracurricular experience, including public concerts, performance opportunities with orchestra, and access to Bechstein’s historic vintage instrument collection – immersing participants in Berlin’s vibrant musical culture beyond daily lessons. Our collaboration with Goethe Institut Berlin will include a curated cultural and language program for all participants.
In partnership with KPM Hotel and Residences, participants will be provided with accommodation for up to two people for 2 weeks at this luxury boutique hotel.
