Funside Balaton is a unique international summer camp set by the shores of Lake Balaton, Hungary’s most beloved holiday destination. Welcoming children and teens from over 30 countries, the camp blends education and entertainment by offering a customisable schedule of over 30 different classes ranging from languages and arts to coding, sports, and mindfulness—all in a bilingual (English and Hungarian) setting.

With high-quality accommodation, full-board meals, and a 5:1 student-to-staff ratio, Funside Balaton ensures both safety and excitement. Campers enjoy a full extracurricular program with beach time, games, performances, and cultural activities. Whether attending for a single session or several weeks, each camper leaves with new skills, new friends, and unforgettable summer memories.

Academics

The camp offers a flexible academic program where students choose two classes per week from nearly 30 diverse options, ranging from English and AI to arts, sports, and tech. Premium classes like DJing, cooking, and windsurfing are available for an extra fee, ensuring every camper can tailor their learning to their passions and try something new each session.

Extracurriculars

Beyond the classroom, Funside Balaton delivers a packed schedule of afternoon and evening activities—including sports, games, talent shows, beach outings, and cultural events—designed to foster friendships, build confidence, and make every day of camp unforgettable.

Accommodation

Campers stay in comfortable, gender-separated rooms at the lakeside Funside Balaton camp facility, with 4–6 children per room and shared bathrooms. The accommodation includes full board with three nutritious meals a day, snacks, and 24/7 supervision by experienced staff and on-site medical personnel.
