Academics

The program offers an intensive equestrian curriculum tailored for riders with a minimum of GALOP 3 proficiency. The academic side of the program features 30 hours per week of specialized workshops focusing on techniques such as dressage, show jumping, and cross-country skills. These sessions are designed to enhance balance, speed control, and overall riding competence, supplemented by professional coaching and competition preparation in a vibrant, French-speaking environment.

Extracurriculars

Beyond rigorous riding training, the Horseback Riding Summer Camp in France enriches the experience with a variety of extracurricular activities. Campers can engage in challenge courses, equestrian games, and acrobatics to foster teamwork and leadership skills. The program also includes exciting outings such as trips to the Accro’bath park followed by swimming sessions, providing a well-rounded experience that combines physical activities with fun and cultural immersion.

Accommodation

Students attending the Ermitage horse-riding summer camp will be staying at the Ermitage International School in Maisons-Laffitte. This campus is known as the “Cité du cheval” and is rich with stables. It provides a natural and secure environment, offering a perfect balance between a calm and peaceful setting and the vibrant cultural life of Paris, just a 20-minute train ride away. The students will be accommodated in charming historic French boarding houses on the campus, ensuring comfort and security throughout their stay.
