Through interactive classes, debates, and mock trials, Innovate students on this pre-university law programme develop a clear understanding of how law shapes society while building the analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills required for entry into the UK higher education system. The programme introduces students to key legal principles and global justice issues, encouraging them to think critically about rights, responsibilities, and the role of law in addressing social, ethical, and policy challenges.
Students gain a broad foundation in legal knowledge by exploring different legal systems, international frameworks, and areas of law such as human rights, criminal justice, environmental law, corporate regulation, and digital law. They examine global justice issues including human rights violations, environmental protection, migration, and social equality, while developing skills in legal reasoning, advocacy, and ethical analysis. Throughout the programme, students are encouraged to engage with real-world case studies and contemporary debates, helping them understand how law operates in practice and how it can be used as a tool for justice and social change.
