Mission Discovery is a five day STEM programme at King’s College London where students aged 14–18 work alongside NASA astronauts, space professionals and academics to design a scientific experiment for space.
Working in teams, students develop and present an experiment proposal, supported by PhD and postgraduate mentors. Alongside this, they take part in interactive sessions, teamwork challenges and Q&As with astronauts, gaining insight into careers in space, science and engineering while building confidence, leadership and communication skills.
Cost: £799 (Day Programme – 5 Days) | £1,999 (Residential – 6 Days)
Students develop core skills in leadership, teamwork, critical thinking and communication. Working in teams, they create and present a space experiment proposal, supported by astronauts, STEM professionals and postgraduate mentors.
