Volunteer Summer Camp for Teens in Costa Rica
An all-inclusive teen summer camp in Costa Rica combining meaningful volunteering, cultural immersion, Spanish practice, and adventure in a safe, supportive environment.
The Marlborough College Summer Program for teenagers, aged 13 to 17 years, offers an array of exciting and innovative courses for the year 2024. With a focus on both learning and entertainment, the program includes new courses like “Act One: Take to the Stage!” and “Creative Fun in Textiles.” In addition to academic courses, students can enjoy a variety of early evening activities such as treasure hunts, swimming inflatables, Capture the Flag, and more.
The program is led by experienced educators like Josh Duarte, ensuring a stimulating and enjoyable environment for young adults and teenagers. Whether delving into English as a Foreign Language or engaging in outdoor adventures, Marlborough College Summer Program provides a diverse range of opportunities for personal growth and fun.
The guiding principles of Marlborough are ‘adventure, risk, creativity, and fun’. Two versions of the course are available: one for native English speakers and another tailored for students requiring concurrent English language instruction, determined through an assessment upon arrival. The curriculum delves into a specific theme during the first week, transitioning to collaborative projects in the subsequent week. For instance, previous modules like ‘silence and noise’ probed contemporary issues of connectivity and community.
