In addition, our staff go through background and safeguarding checks and complete health and safety training. Our one and two week programmes are packed full of a range of events, activities and excursions. From sporting activities, to city tours and arts & crafts, you will never be lost for opportunities to create lasting memories. A variety of local excursions are planned, including visits to historical sites, museums, and attractions. Excursions include The Royal Garrison church, South Sea Castle, the HMS Warrior, HMS Queen Elizabeth, Brighton and Oxford. Saturday Excursions and Premium Venues: Students can "cash out" or exchange the value of Saturday excursions and premium venues for credit to be used on other optional extras, allowing for a more bespoke program.
Our summer school accommodation will provide learners with a comfortable and convenient stay in their chosen city. all accommodation are supervised and include access to amenities and communal social space. Portsmouth accommodation at Harry Law hall is university-owned, located close to classrooms and catering.
