Persian International Summer School – JULY 2025 at the University of Belgrade Following the success of our Summer Courses with international students since 2022, the University of Belgrade (Faculty of Philology) is pleased to announce the upcoming Persian Intensive Summer Course in July 2025. This immersive 3-week (or 4-week) program is designed to enhance your Farsi language skills using updated and academically-focused learning materials.

Summary

The International Persian Summer School will take place at the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade, Serbia, from 30 June to 18 July 2025 for the 3-week program and from 30 June to 25 July 2025 for the 4-week program.

Academics

The academic component includes 30 hours of instruction per week (90 hours in 3 weeks), focusing on reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills through communicative and task-based learning. Classes are taught in Persian, with English as support when necessary. Weekly assessments and a final exam measure students’ progress.

Extracurriculars

Participants can enjoy two educational excursions, including a city tour of Belgrade and a trip to Novi Sad, as well as free Persian calligraphy workshops. Social media groups and online support sessions are also available after the course.

Accommodation

Accommodation is not guaranteed by the university, but student dormitory placements may be arranged upon early registration. Alternatively, students can find private accommodation in apartments, hostels, or hotels in Belgrade.
