Rockbrook Camp for Girls
An historic girls summer camp in the NC mountains with horseback riding, adventure, crafts, sports and more. Est. 1921. Accredited.
The camp offers a thrilling multi-activity experience for children during the July school holidays. PGL Kindilan occupies a beautiful, 220-acre bushland site in Redland Bay, zoned a Conservation Area in South East Queensland. With a packed program of high-energy outdoor adventures like abseiling, flying fox, canoeing, and raft building, kids are grouped by age and supported by experienced instructors who prioritise fun, safety, and personal growth.
The camp includes comfortable bunk-style accommodation, nutritious meals, and round-the-clock care from dedicated staff. Whether attending for a full overnight stay or just for a single adventure day, children leave with new skills, lasting friendships, and the confidence that comes from stepping outside their comfort zone.
The tuition side is centred on experiential, hands-on learning rather than classroom-based instruction. Through carefully structured adventure activities like raft building, archery, crate stacking, and survival challenges, children build resilience, communication, and decision-making skills. Each session is led by trained instructors who guide participants in teamwork, goal-setting, and self-confidence—all key life skills learned through play, challenge, and collaboration.
