The German Summer School in Zell am See offers students aged 10–17 the chance to improve their German skills while exploring the beautiful Austrian countryside. Taught by native speakers, the programme combines interactive classroom learning with hands-on language projects and real-life practice in the local community. Campers also take part in a packed program of sports, cultural activities, and excursions—including a visit to Salzburg and a 360° Alpine cinema experience—creating an unforgettable summer of learning, fun, and friendship.
The academic program combines three hours of German lessons each weekday with fun language projects, games, and discussions, helping students build vocabulary, improve speaking skills, and gain confidence through real-life conversation.
Afternoons and evenings are packed with supervised activities including sports, swimming, beach volleyball, climbing, cultural workshops, and exciting excursions like Alpine hikes and trips to Salzburg.
Campers stay at the Kitzsteinhorn Klub, a family-run hotel with modern facilities including a pool, sports halls, climbing areas, and a lakeshore nearby, in shared rooms with full-board catering.
