This course is designed for young, motivated students who want more than just English language tuition from their summer. Thrill-seeking students participate in at least two off-site adventure activities per week. Taking place in the local area, students are accompanied to the best facilities on offer in the South Coast of England.
Activities such as sailing, indoor climbing, kayaking, bushcraft, archery and treetop adventures help to develop students confidence, teamworking and resilience skills in a fun and engaging setting. In addition to the Adventure activities the course aims to develop English language skills through a variety of engaging sessions, including academic tutorials, group projects, conversation classes, and hands-on excursionss that take learning outside the classroom.
Our course also builds strong interpersonal skills such as teamwork, creativity, and confidence through project-based learning and mentorship.
Student progress is tracked and assessed at the end of each course by Bucksmore Assessment, an evaluation tool developed in alignment with the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) scale.
