  • Complete modules including Current Challenges in Global Context and Social Justice and Global Governance. Learning happens in project-based sessions, career skills sessions, industry visits and 1:1 tutoring. All participants will stay in accommodation in the heart of Tokyo, with allocations made a few weeks before arrival based on course dates and subject choices. The Graduation Ceremony in Tokyo is a prestigious event marking the completion of your Career Insights course. This celebration includes certificate presentations, inspiring speeches, and a traditional dinner. Tokyo offers a unique blend of ancient traditions and cutting-edge modernity. Participants will explore landmarks such as the Meiji Shrine, Shibuya Crossing, and Akihabara, the anime capital of Japan. Tokyo’s evenings are filled with unforgettable experiences. Attend guest speaker sessions, enjoy a theatre performance, or take part in a karaoke night – a staple of Japanese culture.

Accommodation

All participants will live in comfortable student accommodation at their chosen venue, in clean rooms and with adequate supervision. Where multiple campuses may be available (such as in Oxford or Cambridge), students will be allocated to a college a few weeks before arriving, based on their dates and subject choice.

Academics & Tuition

You’ll explore topics such as climate change, sustainable development, social justice, and environmental policy. The course introduces you to the complex relationships between governments, businesses, and communities in addressing global challenges like poverty, inequality, and environmental degradation. You’ll also examine how Japan’s sustainability initiatives and urban development strategies contribute to global sustainability efforts.
