Explore the human mind in Cambridge, a city that has been at the forefront of psychological research. Immerse Education’s Psychology summer programme offers two distinct courses: one for students aged 13-15, focusing on foundational psychology concepts, and another for students aged 16-18, delving deeper into cognitive psychology, behavioural science, and research methods.

Key Features

  • Complete modules including Behavioural Genetics: Nature vs. Nurture, Cogntive Psychology: Seeing and Remembering. Learning happens in in-depth academic sessions, a personal project, and 1:1 tutoring. The graduation ceremony, held in a historic Cambridge hall, celebrates participants' achievements with inspirational speeches and the awarding of certificates. There are two full-day excursions during the programme, one day trip to visit Oxford and its constituent colleges, as well as an optional day out in London, seeing the city’s most famous landmarks as well as some free time for shopping. Outside of lessons, we are proud to offer a busy and diverse social programme to help you get the most out of your time in Cambridge. Evenings feature a variety of events, including inspiring guest speaker sessions, talent shows, cake and canvas painting evenings, quiz nights with friends, and sports tournaments.

Accommodation

All participants will live in comfortable student accommodation at their chosen venue, in clean rooms and with adequate supervision. Where multiple campuses may be available (such as in Oxford or Cambridge), students will be allocated to a college a few weeks before arriving, based on their dates and subject choice.

Academics & Tuition

You’ll explore key topics such as cognitive development, social behaviour, memory, and perception. The course provides a broad introduction to psychology, focusing on how psychologists study human behaviour and mental processes.
