Summer School at Leighton Park with Experio Summer
Our purpose is to create opportunities for young people from all over the world to learn new things, to have new experiences and to…
This advanced French language program at ULB offers exceptional students the chance to hone their oral and written French alongside the study of French literature. With over 60 hours of teaching across the 3-week course, students will be taught by expert members of the ULB faculty and will be exposed to a diverse mix of French and Belgian culture including music, cinema, contemporary art, multiculturalism and linguistics.
French language classes will be determined according to written and oral abilities assessed at the beginning of the course. In addition to daily classes to improve students’ oral and written French, all groups also receive tailored lessons in French grammar as well as an array of cultural lectures. There is a focus on the study of both French and Belgian literature, alongside classes in Belgian music, contemporary art and cinema. With a teaching focus on both linguistic and cultural aspects, the French Language and Literature summer camps constitute a forum for multicultural exchange where, for students sometimes from over fifty countries, the notion of free inquiry prevails.
