Summary

European Space Camp is a one-of-a-kind summer programme held at Andøya Space in Northern Norway, where 24 students come together to design, build, and launch a real sounding rocket. Over the course of a week, participants dive deep into rocket physics, flight modelling, telemetry, and payload construction—gaining practical experience rarely accessible to students at this age. Beyond the labs, the camp offers unforgettable moments: swimming under the midnight sun, hiking to the ALOMAR research station, and bonding with peers from across the globe.

Applicants should have a strong interest in science, particularly physics and space-related topics, and possess a high school–level background in physics and mathematics. The camp is not open to university students already studying engineering or physics. Since all activities are conducted in English, fluency in the language is essential for participation.
