Explore the world of medicine in Sydney, home to some of Australia’s top healthcare institutions and research facilities. Immerse Education’s Medicine summer programme offers two tailored courses: one for students aged 13-15, introducing fundamental concepts in human biology and healthcare, and another for students aged 16-18, focusing on advanced topics in anatomy, biomedical sciences, and patient care.

  • Complete modules including Disease and Treatment and Medical Ethics and Patient Care. Learning happens in in-depth academic sessions, personal projects and 1:1 tutoring. All participants will live, study, dine and relax within St. Paul's College, a stunning residential community that's part of the University of Sydney. The Graduation Ceremony marks the completion of your Career Insights course. This event will be an elegant celebration of achievements. Participants taking part in Sydney Academic Insights courses will enjoy a variety of cultural and leisure activities. Expect excursions during our summer programme, which include exploring the iconic landmarks Sydney has to offer, including Sydney Opera House, the Australian Museum and the Royal Botanic Gardens.

Accommodation

All participants will live in comfortable student accommodation at their chosen venue, in clean rooms and with adequate supervision. Where multiple campuses may be available (such as in Oxford or Cambridge), students will be allocated to a college a few weeks before arriving, based on their dates and subject choice.

Academics & Tuition

You’ll explore core medical topics such as human biology, anatomy, physiology, and healthcare systems. The course also introduces you to the ethical considerations that doctors face in everyday practice, preparing you to think critically about the role of medical professionals in society. You’ll gain insight into how doctors diagnose, treat, and prevent diseases, giving you a solid foundation for further studies in medicine.
