Junior Riding Holidays at Wellington Riding are specifically designed for young riders, offering a chance to 'adopt' a pony for a week. This unique holiday experience includes activities such as flatwork, jumping, and ride outs, along with essential grooming and care lessons. Set in the beautiful Wellington Riding estate, the program combines hands-on equestrian training with fun-filled activities, making it an ideal holiday for young horse enthusiasts looking to improve their riding skills and deepen their understanding of horse care in a supportive and engaging environment.
Participants receive 3hrs per day of riding lessons tailored to their ability, along with daily lectures in stable management and instructions for pony and tack care.
Residential campers can enjoy a varied programme of riding lessons, stabling and grooming techniques as well as evening activities such as cinema trips. Each residential stay culminates with an end-of-the-week ‘Show Day’ finale.
Campers stay onsite in purpose-built dormitory style cabins and are under 24/7 adult supervision.
Equestival 2024 is an exclusive three-day elite riding summer course for adults at Wellington Riding, featuring specialist coaching, interactive workshops, and social events focused on equestrian excellence.
