Deep Unsupervised Learning is an exciting emerging area of research in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning, in which the goal is to develop systems that can learn from unlabelled data. Such systems closely mimic natural human intelligence by finding patterns in data without instructions on what to look for.
Experience Law Academy
Are you considering a career as a lawyer? This summer law course will give you a strong understanding of the legal system and different types of law, including human rights, international, corporate, and criminal. You’ll put your new-found understanding into practice with a mock trial.
Speech and Debate MINOR ONLY (The Oxford Experience)
Students explore major debating styles and strategies, engage in daily speaking exercises, orations, and dialogues, and prepare and present regular debates. The culmination of the course is a formal debate in the historic debating chamber of the Oxford Union Society - founded in 1823, it is one of the oldest university debating societies in the world.
Business (The Oxford Summer Seminar)
Students examine the dynamic world of business by working through specific case studies. They seek to uncover some of the keys to successful business leadership, and to discover what makes a successful entrepreneur. By trying their hand at game theory and various negotiation tactics, they get to grips with managerial organization in all its forms.
Sports Medicine (The Cambridge Tradition)
This course explores three main areas of sports medicine: biomechanics; sports psychology, and exercise physiology, including diet, fitness regimes, and the effects that artificial substances, such as steroids, have on the human body. Students also explore the ethical questions surrounding the use of special surgery and doping in sports.
Musical Theater (Oxbridge in New York)
Students interested in life on, or behind, the stage will participate in workshops and masterclasses ranging from improvisation and vocal technique to script analysis and mime. This course will take students from auditions and casting through rehearsals and the final curtain call. Students will also get a chance to see the professionals in action by attending a selection of Broadway shows. Major students will plan, rehearse, and put on a full show performance by the end of the session.
Photography (Oxbridge in Paris)
From the top of Montmartre to the winding Canal Saint Martin, students of all levels are guided by a professional photographer as they transform the city into their private studio. They hone their skills on assignments that cover art, photography, essay, landscape, photojournalism, portraiture, and learn to develop their own photos in the school's darkroom. Students build up a portfolio and their best work is displayed at the final exhibition. They need a 35mm reflex camera. Film is supplied.

Sociologists have been investigating these questions since the emergence of the World Wide Web in the 1990s, and in this course you will explore the history of scholarship, discover the latest research, and consider the future of the Internet’s complex role in society.
